Locality: United States, Texas, Hays, Deadman's Creek, in northern part of county. In open area on back (N) side of earthen dam on creek, recently overgrazed pasture. Elev. ca. 1000 ft.
Habitat and Description: Recently overgrazed pasture, full sun; general area of juniper-oak on Glen Rose formation limestone; associated with Limnodea arkansana, Baccharis neglecta, Solanum dimidiatum, Hedeoma acinoides, Triodanis perfoliata. Florets bright rose.
