Locality: United States, Texas, JEFF DAVIS, On steep slopes and bottom of canyon, Limpia Creek on E flank of Mt. Livermore, ca. 500 ft. upcanyon from (NW of) barbed wire fence that crosses creekbed ca. 1/3 to 1/2 mi. upstream from crossing of Limpia Canyon Trail in Davis Mountains Resort (at former site of Republic of Texas Embassy) and extending upcanyon for some distance. Mount Livermore Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 6160 - 6180 ft.

Habitat and Description: Occasional in Pinus ponderosa - Quercus hypoleucoides forest on steep rocky igneous slopes and bottom of mesic, fairly high elevation canyon. Herbaceous associates in canyon bottom include Aquilegia sp., Asclepias texana, Baccharis bigelovii, Bidens bigelovii, Blepharidachne bigelovii, Bromus polyanthus, Campanula rotundifolia, Commelina dianthifolia, Cyclanthera dissecta, Desmodium grahamii, Euphorbia bifurcata, Euphorbia bilobata, Euphorbia brachycera, Geranium cespitosum, Ipomaea cristulata, Lithospermum multiflorum, Lycurus phleoides, Melampodium strigosum, Muhlenbergia rigens, M. emersleyi, Panicum bulbosum, Penstemon barbatus, Piptochaetium fimbriatum, Salvia arizonica, Sisymbrium linearifolium, Thalictrum fenderi, Thelypodium wrightii, Verbesina oreophila.
