Habitat and Description: Abundant in formerly hammered cattle pasture on tight gravelly clay on high old terrace. Associates include Acleisanthes longiflora, Ammoselinum popei, Aphanostephus sp., Bouteloua trifida, Bromus unioloides, Croton dioicus, Dyssodia pentachaeta, Erodium texanum, Evax verna, Lappula texana, Lepidium spp., Nama hispidum, Parthenium hysterophorus, Plantago rhodosperma, small Prosopis glandulosa, Tiquilia canescens, Verbena wrightii, Vicia leavenworthii.
