Habitat and Description: Locally frequent in forb-dominated sparingly vegetated glades on ground-level outcrops of Edwards Limestone. Associates include Paronychia lindheimeri, Muhlenbergia reverchonii, Bouteloua hirsuta, Croton monanthogynus.
