Habitat and Description: Occasional in deep loose well drained noncalcareous sand over Carrizo Sand, occasionally mown sloping highway right-of-way. Associates include Acalypha radians, Cenchrus incertus, Croptilon rigidifolium, Diodia teres, Eriogonum multiflorum, Froelichia floridana, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Lantana horrida, Leptoloma cognatum, Lupinus subcarnosus, Mirabilis albida, Sporobolus cryptandrus, Triplasis purpurea, Urochloa texana.
