Locality: United States, Texas, Colorado, Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge; in bottom of small swale in grassland, W side of Pipit Trail in Foster Prairie, N of 90ยก curve, S of weather station, ca. 0.5 airmiles S of abandoned RR bridge over San Bernard River just downstream from mouth of Coushatta Creek. Eagle Lake NE Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 170 - 175 ft.

Habitat and Description: Rare in seasonally wet loamy soils in bottom of small swale in brownseed paspalum grassland. Rays tiny, reddish; disk brown. Associates include various Sagittaria, Juncus and Cyperus spp.
