Locality: United States, Texas, Colorado, Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR; in coastal prairie grassland on Loamy Prairie range site, on pimple mounded upland on NW side of a NE-SW stretch of road in W part of Krueger Prairie, 0.2-0.3 roadmiles NE of its jct. with road leading to gate in W fenceline, 4.0-4.1 NW of mouth of Coushatta Creek, 2.2-2.3 airmiles SSW of I-10 bridge over San Bernard River. Eagle Lake NE Quadrangle. Elev. 215 - 220 ft.

Habitat and Description: Occasional in little bluestem-brownseed paspalum coastal prairie grassland on Loamy Prairie range site. Associates include Aristida longespica var. geniculata, Aster dumosus, A. paludosus, A. pratensis, Digitaria cognata, Eragrostis spectabilis, E. secundiflora, Euthamia pulverulenta, Hypericum drummondii, Liatris acidota, Nothoscordum bivalve, Oxalis violacea, Paspalum plicatulum, Paspalum setaceum, Schizachyrium scoparium, Sorghastrum nutans, Sporobolus asper var. asper, Tridens strictus, Pimple mounds dominated by Ambrosia psilostachya, Croton capitatus, C. glandu-losus, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Diodia teres, Gaura filiformis, Rudbeckia hirta.
