Locality: United States, Texas, Colorado, Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR; on Coarse Sand range site, upland on W edge of historic floodplain of San Bernard River, SW side of a NW-SE stretch of road in N-most pasture, 0.2-0.3 roadmiles SE of its jct. with a NE-SW road near center of pasture, 3.9-4.0 airmiles NNW of mouth of Coushatta Creek, 1.7-1.8 airmiles S of I-10 bridge over San Bernard River. Eagle Lake NE Quadrangle. Elev. 210 - 215 ft.

Habitat and Description: Occasional in dense rank stand of little bluestem-brownseed paspalum grassland on Coarse Sand range site, upland on W edge of historic floodplain of San Bernard River. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Anthaenantia rufa, Aster patens, Baptisia bracteata, Commelina erecta, Croton glandulosus, Digitaria cognata, Eragrostis elliottii, Eupatorium compositifolium, Froelichia floridana, Gaura filiformis, Helianthus angustifolius, Heterotheca pilosa, H. subaxillaris, Iva angustifolia, Mirabilis albida, Muhlenbergia capillaris, Opuntia cf. macrorhiza, Panicum hians, Paspalum plicatulum, Rubus sp., Rudbeckia hirta, Schizachyrium scoparium, Solidago tortifolia, Stylisma villosa.
