Locality: United States, Texas, Colorado, Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR; along margin of woodland on high terrace along W bank of San Bernard River, E side of river road ca. 1.0-1.1 roadmiles S of its jct. with another road at center of N-most pasture, 3.7-3.8 airmiles N to NNW of mouth of Coushatta Creek, 1.9-2.0 airmiles SSE of I-10 bridge over San Bernard River. Eagle Lake NE Quadrangle. Elev. 185 - 195 ft.

Habitat and Description: Rare along margin of live oak woodland on deep coarse alluvial sand. Associates include Ampelopsis arborea, Bumelia lanuginosa, Callicarpa americana, Campsis radicans, Celtis laevigata, Cocculus carolinus, Erythrina herbacea, Fraxinus pensylvanicum, Hypericum hypericoides, Juniperus virginiana, Lantana horrida, Ligustrum sinense, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Poncirus trifoliata, Quercus nigra, Q. virginiana, Smilax bona-nox, S. laurifolia, Solanum capsicastrum, Ulmus americana, Vibumum rufidulum, Vitis mustangensis, Bidens bipinnata, Calyptocarpus vialis, Carex spp., Chasmanthium latifolium, Elephantopus carolinianus, Oplismenus hirtellus, Panicum anceps, Paspalum langei, Passiflora incarnata, Phytolacca americana, Sida rhombifolia, Tridens, flavus.
