SSW of its T jct. with an E-W road that crosses East Branch of Mad Island Slough, 2.7-2.8 airmiles NNE of preserve HQ. Palacios NE Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 8 - 9 ft.

Habitat and Description: Common in heavily grazed transitional coastal prairie on Livia loam over Beaumont Formation. Associates include Aristida oligantha, Asclepias viridis, Aster ericoides, A. pratensis, Bouteloua hirsuta, B. rigidiseta, Chloris cucullata, C. ciliata, Eragrostis secundiflora, Euthamia leptocephala, Helenium amarum, Iva angustifolia, Liatris acidota, Paspalum plicatulum, Spartina spartinae.
