Locality: United States, Texas, Hemphill, 4 miles WSW of Glazier. Elev. 2900 ft.
Habitat and Description: Rolling terrain with sandy soil and abundant Chrysothamnus and scattered Yuccas. Rather common along the roadside, conspicuous because of its purple inflorescences.
