Habitat and Description:
Habit: a tufted, erect grass. Habitat: dry clay banks. Perennial. Soil: clay. Flowers are from the summit of weak stems. Color: pale purple. Leaves are many, smooth and linear. Bark: pale. Roots: deep seated. Apparently rare, only a few mature plants seen.
