Habitat and Description: Occasional in Narta fine sandy loam in grazed coastal prairie dominated by Helenium amarum and Sporobolus indicus. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Aristida oligantha, Aster subulatus, Axonopus affinis, Boltonia diffusa, Cenchrus incertus, Chloris ciliata, Croton capitatus, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus articulatus, Eragrostis secundiflora, Euthamia pulverulenta, Gaura lindheimeri, Gutierrezia texana, Iva angustifolia, I. annua, Liatris acidota, Muhlenbergia filipes, Myrica cerifera, Palafoxia rosea, Panicum hians, Paspalum pubiflorum, Ruellia caroliniensis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Setaria geniculata, Sorghastrum nutans, Spartina spartinae, Tridens muticus.
