Habitat and Description: Locally common in shade of live oaks on silty alluvial soils of mostly cleared former pasture on terrace along intermittent creek. Associates include Bromus unioloides, Centaurea melitensis, Ratibida columnaris, Verbesina virginica and other pasture weeds.
