Locality: United States, Texas, Kenedy, South border of Kenedy County on Highway 96. Elev. 10 m.
Habitat and Description: A spreading, ascending grass. On open sandy loam grounds. Flowers are on a stout raceme. Greenish color. Leaves mostly from the stems, smoothish, bright green. Fruit is crowded on the raceme. Fibrous roots. Occasional in the fall of the year in sandy loam situations.
