Locality: United States, Texas, Brewster, Ca. 70 miles south of Alpine.
Habitat and Description: Cretaceous gypsiferous clay; pure formation almost bare of vegetation. most plants (Chino grama) in gravel top soil. This locality shows yellowish and whitish deposits. Common plants: Chenopodium, Atriplex, Suaeda, Sporobolus wrightii, Haplopappus scabrella. Flowers pink and white.
