Locality: United States, Texas, Hidalgo, 3 miles north Edinburg on side of Highway 66. Elev. 25 m.
Habitat and Description: Prostrate, ascending annual herb. Mesquite forest, open fields. Clay soil. Flowers axillary from upper leaf axils, white, open a.m. close p.m. Leaves alternate, sessile, lyrately lobed, 15-20 mm long; fruit an oval flat capsule. This white variety is only known from Hidalgo Co. north of Edinburg and is scarce.
