Locality: United States, Texas, Hidalgo, 5 miles north of Edinburg on Highway 281. Elev. 20 m.
Habitat and Description: Open woodland; erect, annual decumbent herb on clay loam soil. Flowers are in terminal clusters, white, odorless, open early morning close late afternoon. Leaves are oblong in outline, lobed, pubescent. Fruit a nearly flat pod, bark green, roots fibrous. Frequent in the restricted area, in N Hidalgo County.
