Habitat and Description: Lower-slope seepage area, geology: Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils: included in Stringtown (Typic Hapludults). Associates include Eryngium integrifolia, Eupatorium rotundifolium, Fuirena squarrosa, Liatris pycnostachya, Mitreola sessilifolia, Myrica heterophylla, Ptilimnium costatum, Rhexia petiolata, Rhynchospora gracilenta, R. chalarocephala, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Xyris scabrifolia, and X. ambigua.
