Habitat and Description: Mid-slope hillside seepage-bog, geology: Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils: included in Stringtown (Typic Hapludults). Associates include Burmannia capitata, Asclepias rubra, Drosera capillaris, Eryngium integrifolia, Eupatorium rotundifolium, Fuirena squarrosa, Liatris pycnostachya, Mitreola sessilifolia, Myrica heterophylla, Ptilimnium costatum, Rhexia petiolata, Rhynchospora gracilenta, R. glomerata, R. chalarocephala, R. plumosa, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Sarracenia alata, Scleria reticularis, Xyris ambigua, X. scabrifolia, and X. baldwiniana.
