Habitat and Description: Upper slope hillside seepage bog, geology: Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils: mapped as Rayburn (Vertic Hapludalfs). Associates include Burmannia capitata, Asclepias rubra, Drosera capillaris, Eupatorium rotundifolium, Liatris pycnostachya, Myrica heterophylla, Rhexia petiolata, Rhynchospora chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, R. oligantha, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Scleria reticularis, Coreopsis linifolia, Xyris ambigua, and X. scabrifolia.
