Habitat and Description: Mid-slope hillside seepage bog, geology: Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils: included in Stringtown (Typic Hapludults). Associates include Burmannia capitata, Coreopsis linifolia, Drosera capillaris, Eriocaulon decangulare, E. texense, Liatris pycnostachya, Marshallia tenuifolia, Myrica heterophylla, Ptilimnium costatum, Polygala ramosa, Rhynchospora chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, R. macra, R. oligantha, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Xyris ambigua, X. scabrifolia, X. drummondii, and X. baldwiniana.
