Habitat and Description: Hillside seepage bog, mostly shrub invaded, geology: near Willis and Catahoula Formations contact. Soils: Tehran-Letney (Grossarenic Paleudults). Associates include: Asclepias rubra, Cynoctonum sessilifolium, Eriocaulon decangulare, Liatris pycnostachya, Magnolia virginiana, Myrica heterophylla, Persea palustris, Ptilimnium costatum, Acer rubrum, Rhexia mariana, R. petiolata, Rhynchospora chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, R. oligantha, Rudbeckia scabrifolia, Scleria reticularis, Xyris scabrifolia, X. ambigua, and X. baldwiniana.
