Habitat and Description: Upper slope hillside seepage bog, geology: Catahoula Formation (Miocene). Soils: included in Stringtown (Typic Hapludults). Associates include: Drosera capillaris, Eriocaulon texense, Eryngium integrifolium, Liatris pycnostachya, Marshallia tenuifolia, Polygala ramosa, Ptilimnium costatum, Rhynchospora oligantha, R. chalarocephala, R. macra, Scleria reticularis, Platanthera integra, Xyris drummondii, X. scabrifolia, X. difformis var. curtissii, and X. baldwiniana.
