Locality: United States, Texas, Jasper, E side of unnamed (unmarked) sand road, 0.35 road miles NNW of W end of FM 2800 (end of pavement not indicated on topo), ca. 0.45 road miles S of jct. of this road and another unmarked sand road ca. 2.6 air miles NE of jct. FM 254 and St. Rt. 63 at Peachtree, Jasper West Quadrangle. Elev. 280 ft.
Habitat and Description: On deep somewhat excessively drained acid sands over Willis Formation, on area cleared by utility cable burial, at margin of mixed pine-hardwoods forest, herbaceous associates include Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Andropogon gerardii, Cassia fasciculata, Croton capitatus, Euphorbia corollata, Heterotheca latifolia, Panicum brachyanthum, Polypremum procumbens, Schizachyrium scoparium.
