E of Sandburner Rd. from a point ca. 1.6-1.7 roadmiles S of jct. CCC Rd., ca. 3.4 airmiles ESE of jct. St. Rt. 942 and county road at Hortense. Hortense Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 430 ft.

Habitat and Description: Frequent in bog-like seepage area in loose sand soil on lower slope. Associates include Alnus serrulata, Andropogon glomeratus, Cynoctonum sessilifolium, Cyperus haspan, Drosera intermedia, Eriocaulon texense, Eupatorium coelestinum, Eupatorium rotundifolium, Gratiola pilosa, Hedyotis uniflora, Hypericum mutilum, Juncus brachycarpus, J. marginatus, J. trigonocarpus, J. validus, Ludwigia decurrens, L. hirtella, Lycopodium carolinianum, Magnolia virginiana, Myrica heterophylla, Paspalum urvillei, Rhexia mariana, Rhynchospora glomerata, R. gracilenta, R. inexpansa, R. macra, R. rariflora, Xyris sp.
