Habitat and Description: Low, seasonally wet swale in sandy longleaf pine savannah. Geology- Montgomery Formation (Pleistocene). Soils- undifferentiated wetland inclusions within Bienville-Alaga (Psammentic Paleudalfs and Typic Quartzipsamments). Associates include Fimbristylis tomentosa, Fuirena breviseta, Psilocarya scirpoides, Rhynchospora filifolia, R. fascicularis, R. chalarocephala, Polygala nana, and Viola lanceolata.
