Locality: United States, Texas, Culberson, Guadalupe Mountains National Park; South McKittrick Canyon. Ca. 0.4 km SW of Turtle Rock, ca. 2.4 km S, 0.9 km W Pratt Lodge. Elev. 5500 ft.
Habitat and Description: Occasional. Shaded seep on N-facing slope adjacent to stream. Acer grandidentatum, Quercus muhlenbergia riparian woodland. [Note on 2004 Gillespie annotation: "Specimens from the Guadalupe Mtns. were segregated by P. Ball (Novon 8:220-224. 1998) as C. mckittrickensis. Molecular and morphological analyses indicate that the segregate is embedded within C. eburnea."].
