Habitat and Description: Frequent in loamy soils in somewhat drier portions of grazed, shrub-invaded coastal prairie grassland/wetland mosaic. Associates include Agalinis heterophylla, Ambrosia psilostachya, Baccharis halamifolia, Eupatorium serotinum, Gaura filiformis, Helianthus angustifolius, Iva annua, Myrica cerifera, Paspalum floridanum, P. pubiflorum, Sapium sebiferum, Schizachyrium scoparium, Sesbania drummondii, Solidago sempervirens, Spartina spartinae.
