Habitat and Description: Frequent patches in open post oak woodland on sandy soils over gravelly/sandy Pleistocene high terrace deposits, +/- level upland. Associates include Acalypha monococca, Aristida longespica var. longespica, Asclepias verticillata, Diodia teres, Froelichia gracilis, Helenium amarum var. amarum, Palafoxia callosa, Phyllanthus abnormis, Polypremum procumbens, Portulaca mundula.
