Habitat and Description: Resaca bed. Habit erect slender tufted grass; habitat open fields; annual; soil gumbo-clay; flowers terminal panicle; color greenish; month Sept-Oct; leaves mostly all basal, slightly ruff, thin. When it is well established it covers large tracts of ground.
