Associates include Baccharis salicina, Persicaria lapathifolia, Pluchea purpurascens, Cyperus onerosus, Cyperus odoratus, Conyza canadensis, Xanthium strumarium, Scirpus tabernaemontani, Eustoma exaltatum, Distichlis spicata, Paspalum setaceum, Phyla sp., Salix sp.
