Habitat and Description: Common in heavily grazed weedy shortgrass pasture on Pullman soils on High Plains surface. Associates include Conyza canadensis, Centaurea americana, Asclepias latifolia, Ratibida columnaris, Liatris punctata, Bouteloua gracilis, Eragrostis curtipedicellata, Aristida spp., Yucca angustifolia, Helianthus ciliaris.
