Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist to wet sand and igneous gravel. Associates include Aster subulatus, Baccharis salicina, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Conyza canadensis, Cyperus niger var. capitatus, Echinochloa sp., Juncus acuminatus, J. cf. interior, Lobelia cardinalis, Ludwigia palustris, Oenothera rosea, Panicum virgatum, Paspalum distichum, Persicaria lapathifolia, Sorghastum nutans.
