Habitat and Description: One patch ca. 6 ft. long and nearly as wide, containing hundreds of stems. In shallow clay or clay loam over limestone, in Schizachyrium scoparium-Bouteloua pectinata grassland on dry upland with some Juniperus ashei invasion.
