Habitat and Description:
Occasional in grassy openings in Myrica-dominated shrubland on shell mounds. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Aristida purpurea, Baccharis halamifolia, Erigeron myrionactis, Gaura sp., Juncus spp., Krigia oppositifolia, Melilotus indicus, Myrica cerifera, Oenothera speciosa, Sabatia campestris, Solidago sempervirens, Spermolepis inermis, Sphenopholis obtusata, Sporobolus indicus, Tamarix sp.
