Habitat and Description:
A wide branched herb, 40 cm high. On high dry clay soils. Perennial roots. Leaves alternate, linear, sessile, 20 to 25 mm long. The branches are spreading on this species. Terminal yellow flowers, few flowered. Flowering June-July. On high dry clay soils. Not abundant. Distribution through South Texas.
