Locality: United States, Texas, Parker, Ranch House Road 200 meters north of Vista Road near Lake Weatherford.
Habitat and Description: Deep sand; Liatris mucronata also in immediate area but not in flower. Associates Styllingia texana, Hedyotis nigricans, Echinacea angustifolia, Thelesperma filifolium, Gaillardia aestivalis, Liatris mucronata, Stenosiphon linifolius, Pediomelum linearifolium, Opuntia lindheimeri, Hedyotis nigricans, Liatris mucronata, Yucca pallida, Ceanothus herbaceus, Tetraneuris scaposa, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Grindelia lanceolata var. texana. Nearby calcareous site (more typical habitat) also with L. aestivalis.
