Locality: United States, Texas, Tarrant, Tandy Hills Municipal Park, east of downtown Fort Worth, N side of Hwy 30.
Habitat and Description: Limestone slopes with shallow to deeper soil on flats and slope bottoms; area of Juniperus virginiana, Prosopis glandulosa, Fraxinus texensis, Rhus trilobata, with common herbaceous associates Pediomelum linearifolium, Schizachyrium scoparium, Styllingia texana, Grindelia lanceolata var. texana, Symphyotrichum ericoides, Dyssodiopsis tagetoides, Stenosiphon linifolius, Ceanothus herbaceus, Dalea multiflora, Heliotropium tenellu, Centaurea americana, Eriogonum longifolium, Eryngium leavenworthii. Liatris mucronanta abundant, not yet in flower, on lower slopes in deeper soil. Liatris aestivalis abundant on rock outcrop, gentle slope; ca. half to full flower, with small subglobose corms, many plants killed by Cuscuta.
