Locality: United States, Texas, Tarrant, West portion of City of Fort Worth, Westridge Drive ca. 2 blocks N of jct with Vickery Blvd.
Habitat and Description: Undeveloped lot with open, steep slopes of Glen Rose limestone outcrop and shallow silty soil; common associates Yucca pallida, Hedyotis nigricans, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Grindelia lanceolata, Stenosiphon linifolius, Eryngium leavenworthii, Thelesperma linifolium, Rhus trilobata, Symphyotrichum ericoides, Pediomelum linearifolium, Ceanothus herbaceus; opening encroached by Ligustrum quihoui, Ligustrum japonicum, Celtis laevigata, Ilex decidua, Ulmus crassifolia, Crataegus glabriscula, Bumelia lanuginosa. Liatris aestivalis abundant, in ca. midflower.
