Habitat and Description: Occasional along margin of tall brush with emergent Sabal mexicana, on clay loam of old resaca levees. Associates include Amyris texana, Anredera scandens, Bumelia celastrina, Cardiospermum corindum, Celtis pallida, Citharexylum berlandieri, Ehretia anacua, Eupatorium odoratum, Leucaena pulverulenta, Phaulothamnus spinescens, Pithecellobium ebano, P. pallens, Plumbago scandens, Prosopis glandulosa, Randia rhagocarpa, Sabal mexicana, Stachys drummondii, Trixis inula, Zanthoxylum fagara, Ziziphus obtusifolia.
