Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, North east of Brownsville, Texas. Elev. 10 m.
Habitat and Description: Habit a branched at based base of shrub; habitat woodland, chaparral thickets; soil clay; flowers are on terminal panicles; color white; odor fragrant; open during day; month Feb.- Mar.; leaves opposite, a pale green color; fruit an achene; bark gray; roots woody. This is the only pure white flowered specimen that I have seen in Cameron Co.
