Habitat and Description: Stems weak, decumbent or more often clambering into shrubs; occasional in weedy shrubland in formerly grazed pasture on well drained alluvium on outwash terrace below mouth of canyon. Woody associates include Aloysia gratissima, Berberis trifoliolata, Bumelia lanuginosa, Celtis laevigata, Celtis reticulata, Cocculus carolinus, Colubrina texensis, Condalia hookeri, Diospyros texana, Eysenhardtia texana, Juniperus ashei, Opuntia leptocaulis, Opuntia cf. lindheimeri, Prosopis glandulosa, Prunus minutiflora, Quercus fusiformis, Smilax bona-nox, Solanum triquetrum, Sophora secundiflora, Ulmus crassifolia, Wedelia hispida, Yucca rupicola, Yucca treculeana.
