Habitat and Description: Habit erect branched or reclining herb; habitat alluvial soils, thickets; perennial; soil clay; flowers paniculate, flowering stalks opposite, pinkish; month March-April; leaves opposite, stipulate, ovate-hastate, serrate. Abundant in alluvial soils, a Mexican specie entering this region.
