Habitat and Description: Locally common in Narta fine sandy loam in coastal prairie dominated by Spartina spartinae, Iva angustifolia, and Helenium amarum. Other associates include Schizachyrium scoparium, Euthamia pulverulenta, Liatris pycnostachya.
