Locality: United States, Texas, Bastrop, Ca. 2.5 mi E of McDade from the 223 spur on the old highway east along the railroad track. North side of railroad tracks.
Habitat and Description: Post Oak woodland in loose coarse-grained white sand; recently burned. Lower heads yellow phyllaried, upper heads cream-colored. All plants with light yellow to cream-colored phyllaries. Corms globose to slightly elongated. Duplicates at NCU, FLAS, NY, GH, F, SMU.
