Habitat and Description: Post Oak/ Blackjack Oak/ Hickory sandhill woodland; Carrizo formation. Associated with Froelichia drummondii, Palafoxia hookeriana, Eriogonum multiflorum, Schizachyrium scoparium, Euphorbia corollata, Gnaphalium obtusifolium. Corms all rounded; phyllaries light-yellow below and cream above; flowers white, stigmas white.
