Locality: United States, Texas, Atascosa, Along FM 541 ca. 1.0 mi W of McCoy, SE of Pleasonton; terrace of Atascosa River.
Habitat and Description: Live Oak with some Mesquite; Quaternary alluvial terrace of river. Fine sandy soil of the Sarita series; associated with Opuntia engelmannii, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton capitatus, Palafoxia rosea in Schizachyrium grassy area. Scattered but common, phyllaries bluish pink to light pink. Roots elongate, attenuated.
