Habitat and Description: Open areas of Live Oak/ Ilex vomitoria/ Callicarpa woodland; dominated by Eriogonum multiflorum, Croton texensis, and Froelichia drummondii; other plants include Polanisia erosa. Sandy Quaternary terrace. Rare in thicket openings, more common nearer creek where more open. Phyllaries bluish or lilac, or mauve. Corms rounded.
