Habitat and Description: Sandhill woodland savannah along creek. Carrizo sand formation; Quercus stellata/ Schizachyrium scoparium savannah; assoc. with Froelichia drummondii, Monarda punctata, mixed forbs. Corms all rounded, not elongated basally. Flower all white, stigma lilac; phyllaries mauve to lilac or bluish.
